Come out and support the Arts. Be part of an initiative that will help
revitalize and beautify Bridgeport. Enjoy the art, music and educational workshops
with the family. Last year the inaugural festival was a major success and the
2009 will be bigger and better.
On Memorial Day weekend, Saturday, May 30th (rain date is May 31st) from noon
to 5.00pm Oil Drum Art, the Nest Arts Factory, and the City of Bridgeport
will launch the “2nd Annual Seaside Park Arts Festival” at the park’s original
Bath House at Barnum Dyke and Sound View Drive.
There will be many fun, educational and art-related activities for children
and families to participate. All the activities are FREE such as educational
programs and workshops, Oil Drum Art Painting Workshop, live music,
entertainment with face-painting, puppet-making, free books, a drumming circle, and an
artists’ exhibition with their artwork on display for sale.
It will be a wonderful day.
